OurTown – Then & Now

Downtown Holt has changed drastically in the last 90 years. This photo, looking north on Cedar Street towards the Holt Road intersection, was taken in 1928. It shows two gas stations, Sinclair and Staroline, sitting across the street from each other. Nestled between them is an old-fashioned ice cream shop.

As we continue to change and improve today’s downtown Holt, imagine what this intersection will look like in another 90 years.
