“I think one of the misconceptions is that we trade stocks all day,” he said. “But we really focus on individual goals and what’s really important to the client. I like to build the relationship around their needs.”
As a financial advisor in this national firm, Marciniak-Jennings works with families and individuals at all stages of life with estate planning, retirement savings and income strategies, college savings plans, and more. His years of experience in the field help him guide clients toward financial options that coincide with their life goals.
“It’s a really nice feeling when you watch someone’s eyes light up when they realize ‘we can retire,’ or ‘my kids can go to college and it’s going to be just fine,’” he said.
When financial planning can be especially emotional, such as managing the finances of a relative who has passed away, Marciniak-Jennings offers an outsiders’ perspective and can help families navigate their financial options.
“We can remove ourselves emotionally from a family situation yet still connect with families, provide a personal approach, and get to know families for who they are and what’s important to them,” he said.
Marciniak-Jennings has worked in the customer service industry for 18 years and launched his Edward Jones branch with partner Korie Spitzley four years ago. As a Holt resident, he appreciates the opportunity to be close to home and to get to know his clients better.
“It just takes one good contact or one good conversation to really make me feel that I’m having an impact and moving the needle forward,” he said. “The ability to work with people and help them out is what I look forward to each day.”
