Each week, several newborns “join the family” at Great Lakes Pediatric Associates. From well- child care, immunizations and sports physicals to treating chronic or complex health issues, the practice is dedicated to providing the highest quality primary health care to patients from birth through age 18.
Physician Leslie Reynolds, M.D. (above right), is a graduate of Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine, a board certified pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Both Dr. Reynolds and physician assistant April Saunders (above left) are also yoga instructors, which contributes to a more mindful approach to wellness.
Great Lakes Pediatric Associates has been selected as a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) designated practice by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. As such, its approach is collaborative—“more of a partnership between patients and provider,” explained office manager Monica Brunetti, RN, CCM, CCP.
“The patient has a voice,” she said. “We are patient-centered, comprehensive and accessible.” That accessibility includes evening hours to help accommodate busy families.
